Darlene was born August 21, 1948 in Dallas, TX. She resided in Gainesville and was a member of the Downard Fairplains community. Miss Hensley worked at the State School in Denton and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening and shopping.
Survivors include: son William Teafatiller of Gainesville; daughter Marilyn Renee Hensley of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister Faye McDowell of Lewisville.
